The Outsider (2002)

actually, i think santiago realistically would have better fashion sense than chrysos... not only is chrysos a merman and they place a little less importance on fashion clothes-wise, but santiago has the added element of actually wanted to impress or appeal to people. so while their tastes are different i feel like santiago would at times have a better sense of style

also chrysos definitely got help from vil on his fit lol. he really didn't wanna mess it up even if he'd never admit it so he turned to his club senpai for help (god knows his own dorm upperclassmen would be unbearable abt it and also have u SEEN jade and floyd's fashion tastes... i love them but cmon). and so here we are haha with some pointers from good ol schoenheit-senpai

i feel like their outfits sort of reflect how they are, though? like, santiago naturally gravitates towards clothes that are more loose and free, more active, casual and adaptive towards any situation. meanwhile chrysos goes with stylish and elegant because that's the kind of environment in which he was raised, keeping it simple but still subtly making a statement in true chrysos fashion
